A typical residential and smaller commercial solar array (max string voltage <= 900Vdc) requires one (1) Solar Safety ShutOFF for each string per inverter in the array.
Larger Residential and commercial solar
For larger residential and commercial solar array (max string voltage <= 1350Vdc), two (2) Solar Safety ShutOFF are required for each string per inverter in the array.
